Catching up!
Yes, it's been a LONG time since I've written anything here. Sorry! Of course, maybe I'm the only one reading it so it's okay!
So yesterday, after spending the day helping Maria organize her house, I drove the hour to Worcester and let the Garmin weave me through the scariest part of Worcester... yikes! It was very scary at times but I made it with a few minutes to spare. Of course, Joey couldn't come out and meet me because he couldn't/wouldn't find his shoes! Ah! college students! It was a quick visit because he was squeezing us in between his girlfriend and his friends' birthday celebrations! I guess we should be happy we got in at all right Joey??? We delivered the birthday cupcakes and the gifts - an over-the-door nerd basketball hoop (by request) and a huge bag of chocolate from Maria (yes, he loved it!). We didn't get to sing happy birthday which I personally found disappointing but didn't seem to break JOEY'S heart! Oh well. He'll be home next weekend for spring break so we can spend some time together then. That is if he hasn't already planned out every minute with his friends! haha!
So many things coming up in the next few weeks and months... SAT's and college visits for Sam. (We had a great day visiting Emerson and BU last Wednesday!) Soccer season is starting up for Elena and John is embarking on a travel schedule that will have him gone once every other week for 3 days. Yay! (just kidding hunnie!)
As for me, I'm on some new meds which, dare I say it, seem to be helping! I'm afraid to be too optimistic but things are looking good. Maybe this time next year I'll have a real full time job or be leading a band! One can only hope!
That's it for now. I'm hoping to be better at keeping this up to date and hopefully a little practice will make it more interesting too!
